Synesthesia.

Part of my job is to scan the internet for the latest in the fashion industry. This includes viewing new look books as they come through. Rarely do i see a look book that leaves me speechless. But designer Iris Van Herpen, has achieved just that.

The designer, originating from Amsterdam, is slowly taking over the fashion circuit with her pure works of wearable art. Iris van Herpen has worked with the likes of Viktor & Rolf and Alexander McQueen, and has recently shown at London fashion week.

Her latest look book for her collection ‘Synesthesia’ is utterly breathtaking. The models are swept up in a magical world of fast paced fashion, caught somewhere in between movement and stillness. The collection’s attention to detail is flawless, as Iris focuses on a technical and hands on approach, finessed through fine detail and vibrant colour combinations.
I am in love.
